West Point Combat Classic Annual Paintball Scenario
Sat, April 06 2019, 9:00 AM – Sun, April 07 2019, 3:45 PM [EST]
The West Point Combat Classic is a unique experience for players to fight against and alongside cadets from the United States Military Academy at West Point on the very same training grounds used by presidents, astronauts, and generals when they were cadets.
The cadets of the Combat Classic strive to provide a level of realism unmatched by other scenario events by utilizing real military pyrotechnics and scenarios to mimic the historic battles of wars past.
Field Paint Only
No outside paint permitted. In order to keep everyone safe on the field we require that everyone uses the provided paint that is sold at the field. This also helps your local West Point Paintball Team to keep running annual events and supporting its competitive tournament play.
If the refs see someone using off-field paint they will get one warning. If caught again, the player in question will be removed from field.
Are “Tanks” allowed this year?
Yes, while tanks are allowed this year, please follow these fields rules: have a team marking (like a colored flag), a kill box that is 12″ x 12″, and a white flag to display when the tank is killed. In addition no personnel from tanks are allowed to enter or exit the vehicle while on the field.
What counts as a kill?
For a general a head shot is required to take them out. For infantrymen, any paint that breaks on the body counts as a kill shot ( gun shots do not count). For tanks, the 12″x 12″ kill box must be filled with paint.
What is the fields FPS limits?
The field’s FPS limit is 280. Anyone chronographed on field between 290 – 300 FPS will be given a warning and after your second warning you will be removed from the field. If you are chronographed above 300 FPS, you will be removed from field. If you are chronographed above 310 FPS, you will removed from event and not allowed to return.
